Our partnership is our superpower. While it didn’t start with a business plan, it did begin in a 7th-grade classroom. Today, that lifelong bond allows us to provide the most reliable dog care team Montgomery County has to offer.
Back then, we were polar opposites. Spray was a skateboarding class clown, whereas I was a quiet bookworm. Even though miles separated us during school, our bond as best friends never wavered. Twenty years later, that foundation of trust drives Zoomies Dog Care. Furthermore, we are so attuned to one another that we often don’t need words. These differences create a “symbiotic” team for your pets.

The Groomer & Walker
I provide the hands-on care. Because I have spent four years honing my passion for grooming, I’ve learned exactly what local pups need. However, the work is even better when my partner is by my side. If you need professional maintenance, check out our grooming services. I’m also the primary leash-holder; I find it highly rewarding to form those close bonds to each dog we walk.
The Driver & Handler
Spray was quite literally born to drive. He navigates traffic with incredible focus and quick reflexes. Consequently, your pet rides with the best driver in Maryland when they use our Pet Taxi. While I focus my attention on your dog, he focuses on our surroundings and applies those same quick reflexes to ensure nothing threatens the safety of a dog under our care.
Meet Our “Management” (Luna & Oakley)
Because we don’t just work with dogs, we live for them. Currently, we are raising our second generation of fur-children.
Luna
Meet our two-year-old Shiba Inu. She is the sassy boss of the family, with that breed trademarked attitude. Don’t let her fool you, though, behind the glare is an affectionate pup with a charming little smile.
Oakley
This is our 80lbs “trifecta+” mix – a wonderful mash-up of Rottweiler, Doberman, German Shephard and just a touch of Australian Shephard! Although she has a fierce bark, when she gets excited her whole body wiggles until she collapses at your feet for petting!
The Zoomie Experience
We treat every dog like family. For instance, we love hiking spots like the Sunflower Fields off Hunting Quarter Drive or cruising down River Road.
Every dog has different needs. Therefore, we play calm country music on 98.7 WMZQ for anxious riders. For the car-lovers, we roll the windows down and crank the classic rock on Big 100.3. As a result, they get a full “scent tour” of the county.
A Note from the Groomer
Do you want to keep your pup in top shape between visits? I have two main tips. First, please skip the “in-between” home baths. If they are messy, simply call us for a refresh! Second, take the time to learn your dog’s specific coat type. Ultimately, the right brushing technique makes a huge difference.
